or chocolates,

or something nice.

I could have given you the best of me.

Loved you without holding back.

Loved every moment that we spend together.

Missed you when you are away,

and wished you would hurry home.

Just so I could love you a little bit more than yesterday.

And you love me, you do.

With every breath that you take you do.

I can see that almost every day.

I see beyond those beautiful eyes,

through to a beautiful soul.

If only I could love you the same.

Oh, but I am without a heart.

Sorry, I am heartless that way.

You see, I gave someone my heart a long time ago.

and when he left, I forgot to take it back.

He is somewhere unknown, still with my heart.

That is how heartless I am. I forgot to love.
